SAN FRAN!!!

So this year was our 5 year anniversary and for the past couple years I have wanted to go to Napa Valley. So when our friends asked us to go on a trip with them, I jumped at the opportunity to suggest that we go to Napa! Everyone agreed that, that is where we should go. We started saving because we all know that is an expensive trip.
So we planned our trip. We were going to be there for 4 days. So we stayed in San Francisco for one night and we had one full day there so we went to Fisherman's Warf and China Town. There is so much to do there. We had planned to go to see Alcatraz, but the tickets were sold out until the middle of August, and we wanted to go to the Red Woods but didn't have enough time.
We wanted to go to a Giants game but we quickly realized we did not pack warm enough clothes to be sitting at a ballpark when it is 60 degrees outside and there is a breeze coming off of the bay.

We stayed in Healdsburg for two nights and went to a couple wineries. Then we stayed in Napa for one night. I can not express how pretty it is there. You see vineyards for miles and miles. The wineries spend so much money on their buildings, but they are gorgeous!!

Some of the wineries we went to were: Bogle, Kunde,Sterling, Artesa and there were a few other.

This was one of the favorite trips and I am already planning for the next time we go, I am not sure when that will be, but we are going again!!! :)

This is going to be picture overload, sorry. :)

Missouri

A couple months ago, Jared's uncle asked us to help him and Monica with a chuck wagon cook in Missouri, all of the proceeds went to the Wounded Warriors Project. I had never been to Missouri, it so green. They had things like big green trees and very green, plush grass. You know things that Texas hasn't seen in a while. I was very nervous about going because the weekend before that terrible tornado hit Moore, OK and it traveled the same path that we were going. So I prayed hard that we would be safe. The weather was prefect. But the weekend after there were more tornadoes. Again the Lord is great and he kept us safe.

After we left Missouri we took a short trip to Eureka Springs, AK. Again I had never been to AK. We chose Eureka Springs because everyone that we had talked to said it was an old ghost town. We didn't do any of the ghost tours, but we did stay in a hotel that they said was haunted. We were only there for one night, so we didn't have time to do much. Here are some pictures.

The Final Wedding of the Year!!

Ryan and Brittani-

The final wedding of 2013, well that we had to attend was for my youngest sister, Brittani. She was absolutely stunning. She was so nervous, just like any bride. It was a windy day and as soon as she started to walk down the steps the wind just stopped. It was amazing, the Lord is great, he never seizes to amaze me when things like that happen! The wedding was short and sweet.
Her husband to be - Ryan - had the biggest grin. He looked handsome. They had some mishaps during their vows, but that eased their nerves a little. They were married on May 18, 2013- it was not to hot or to cold. Gorgeous May weather.
