Trisha and Johnny!

My sister - Trisha got married on April 13, 2013. It was a very exciting day, as any wedding day should be. Everything started out great that morning and then I received a phone all saying that Trisha had a seizure and the ambulance was taking her to the hospital. At this point we were not sure if she was going to be able to go on with the wedding. With much thought and many phone calls to re-arrange the time, she decided to go on with the wedding. She was released from the hospital at 3:00 and the wedding started at 6:30. It was a CRAZY day to say the least, but she was a trooper! Even though there were some bumps and bruises in the road, we still managed to get everything done before the wedding at 6:30. I think it turned out more perfect than she could have ever imagined.

The first wedding we were invited to was Wes and LeAnn's, we have known them for a couple years. I was unable to attend the wedding, so I do not have any pictures. Jared went and said it was very pretty and that everyone had a great time. Congrats Wes and LeAnn!

5 years of Wonderful Memories!!

We made it five years!! It has been GREAT!! We had out pictures taken for the first time since we got married, they turned out fantastic!
Jared surprised me with dinner at Las Brisas on Friday night and on Saturday we went to the Texas Tech Spring game.  I was completely surprised! He is amazing! :)

Our life right now...

It is the season in our life when everyone is tying the knot! We had some friends get married in March. My middle sister - Trisha got married on April 13, 2013. Our best friends Justin and Amanda are getting married May 11th and my youngest sister Brittani is getting married May 18th. All the wedding stuff has been a blast but it has kept us, well me busy.
After all the weddings we are going to Lebanon, Missouri to help our uncle cook on his chuckwagon. I have never been there, so I can't wait. I hear that the country is beautiful there.
Then, we will be going to Frederickburg. for out annual trip with my mother in law!
And last, but certainly not least, we will be going to NAPA VALLEY and this trip will be for us!! We are going to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and we are going with our friends Justin and Amanda!! I can not wait!!
So, needless to say, when we are at home on the weekends, there isn't much that gets done.

It's been a while!

So, I have been out of the blogging world for a while. Sorry about that, but i am going to try this again. There have been a ton of things going on in our little world. I will be blogging about them within the next couple weeks.

Blessed beyond measures....

I have so much to be thankful for. To start my husband Jared- he is the best and I'm not sure what I would do without him. He is my everything, he completes me. I LOVE him and am a better person with him.
My family - we have had our ups and downs but it has brought us to this wonderful place. I love each and everyone of you.
My friends - you know who you are and I'm so blessed to have you in my life. You bring out a side of me some people dont see, because I'm a little shy and insecure ( shhhh, don't tell anyone.) I thank you for bringing those qualities in me out. People need to see them. :)
I am blessed to have the Lord in my life. I can go to him whenever, for whatever and He will never fail me.
When writing this I thought about how I am always wishing for something more. I am realizing that I have all that I can ask for, I don't have to want THINGS all the time. I have plenty of LOVE on my life.
